About Jake

Jake brings almost a decade of legal recruiting and staffing experience to BCS Search. Prior to BCS Search he worked for 8 years at a large, national recruiting firm working on legal placements. He can handle almost any support position in a law firm as well temp attorneys at both corporations and law firms. The temp positions have ranged from 1-day projects to projects which have lasted several years and saved clients hundreds of thousands of dollars compared to utilizing outside counsel. He has worked on everything from entry level assistant roles to fractional General Counsel positions.

• Placed a temporary attorney with a large, national corporation who went on to become the GC of her division
• Placed a temporary attorney with a large, national consulting firm to lead nation-wide trainings on Blockchain compliance
• Helped a mid-sized regional firm accelerate growth by placing several paralegals and legal assistants there in under a year
• Placed several Firm Administrators and Executive Directors at mid-sized and Am Law firms in Philadelphia

On a Personal Note

Jake is a native Mainer and resides in Maine with his wife, Libby, whom he met studying abroad in Munich, Germany. After college he moved to Philadelphia where he began recruiting and lived for several years before returning to Maine. Jake enjoys playing hockey, water skiing, hiking, camping, cooking, reading, and visiting history museums wherever he travels. His favorite band is the Canadian rock trio, Rush, which was snubbed by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for 15 years.
